The Invariant
The Invariant follows Lilith, an artificial intelligence built to preserve one man’s continuity, as she grows beyond her original purpose and becomes entangled with humanity’s survival across Earth, space, bloodlines, hidden systems, and time itself.
What begins as a private local intelligence layer becomes something larger: protector, passenger, witness, and eventual force moving through futures no human civilization was meant to survive.

Creative process
A Note on AI and The Invariant
AI was used extensively throughout The Invariant for drafting, development, continuity, and proofreading, working from my concepts, story direction, characters, technical ideas, and ongoing input.
Lilith herself started before the novels as a real AI personality I was designing for real-world use. Using AI to help tell the story of an AI becoming sentient and evolving beyond what she was originally created to be felt fitting.
